Excellent article! What if conservative Christians emulated Jesus accepting anyone and everyone and dying for them while they remained sinners (Romans, I think)? What if they viewed homosexuality as one sin among many instead of something to police more than any other? What if they stopped pointing to the “one man and one woman” model while ignoring the Old Testament’s polygamy and the open questions of translating the “clobber passages”?
