I’m more in favor of censoring misinformation than ever before, because confirmation bias and motivated reasoning and cult-like hyper-partisanship have made it far too easy for socially harmful ideas to gain significant footholds. In concrete terms, Alex Jones and Tucker Carlson shouldn’t get to make things up under the guise of opinion-journalism.
