I appreciate the idea that everyone forms their beliefs for what seems to them to be good reasons, but I think you don't put enough weight on how motivated reasoning, confirmation bias, etc., enables people to justify believing objectively false or unreasonable things, including misinformation that's been debunked. Interesting read, though.
