I see your point, but in my observation and experience, certain people want to decide what is an over-reaction and what is not. Generally, it’s an over-reaction if “they” do it, but a perfectly reasonable and necessary reaction when “we” do it. I still can’t see a way around demanding free speech for oneself while also denouncing the free speech of calling out someone else’s speech, buying from a different business, or not watching/supporting someone or something.
