Jeff, I appreciate your thoughtful and constructive response. We certainly differ in our views of scripture, but I think we both love God. For some people, a given view of scripture, a given theology, etc., may help them to love God more than another view or theology. I suppose that’s why we have so many diverse ideas among faithful Christians throughout church history as well as so many denominations today. I’ve come to believe: whatever helps you love God more and better, believe that. I trust God’s grace to cover our sins, errors, and mistakes. Thank you again.
