You may have seen or read these articles already, but here is a round-up of my most-viewed and most-read publications on Medium in 2024.
My top essay, by far, was a reflection on AI’s impacts on teaching, learning, and reading. It was “boosted” and got over 18K views and 8K reads. Thank you Stephen Muskett, M.S.Ed and Age of Awareness!
That essay struck a chord. Obviously, it was very topical thanks to ChatGPT and the timing of publishing the essay as most schools were beginning their fall semesters. I also think the essay’s insights resonated with people’s experiences and provided language for describing them.
My second most-viewed, most-read essay argued that the Israel-Hamas War faced more protests, especially from younger people, because it was a fundamentally different kind of war. I appreciate Zuva Seven and An Injustice for running the piece.
