Thanks for bringing up this point. It's so complex. For me, I think life begins at conception because conception starts the developmental process. But I also don't think a clump of cells, or a 20-week fetus that can't survive outside the womb (or even a 24-week fetus that can't survive without modern medicine and technology), carries or should carry the same value/weight as a 32-week fetus, born infants, or the mother. I mean, we don't mourn a miscarriage in month 5 the same way we mourn a still-birth?
