Well, as I argue in this essay, the Disciples went from cowering and disillusioned to bravely proclaiming the very claims that got their leader brutally tortured and executed. And in their culture, it didn’t make any sense to make up a story in which women were the primary witnesses and the object of devotion was a defeated, broken, and humiliated disappointment in worldly terms. Of course, there’s no slam dunk argument for the resurrection (like security camera footage), but those are the best pieces of evidence I’ve got.
